Senior Pastor Ron Keysor

Ron
Keysor has been married
to his wife Marla for 27 years. Marla
and Ron have three adult children and one old dog.
Prior to being a pastor he was a health-care
executive. He is
now an ordained elder
in the Church of the Nazarene and has been a pastor since 1989. He

Associate
Pastor Barbara
Christenson
Barb has been married to Larry for 48 years, they have 3 children, 13 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. Before going into ministry, Barb spent her adult life in nursing as a CNA, an LPN and as an RN. She was ordained an Elder in the Church of the Nazarene in 1997, she was registered as an Evangelist in the church in 1998 and has spent the past 12 years in ministry both at home and away. She has led local church retreats, district ladies retreats, revival meetings, spiritual formation and prayer seminars and conferences from Alaska to Kenya and S. Africa with many of stops in between. Barb has provided interim pastoral leadership and pulpit supply for Nazarene Churches in Minnesota. Barb is involved in teaching, preaching and leading the church prayer ministry here in Brainerd. |

Children's
Pastor Julie Plopper Julie has worked with children for many years in many different capacities. She has been a Children’s Pastor in Brainerd, Minnesota since August 2006. She has also taught school for 7 years, and had a day care in her home. She graduated from Northwest Nazarene College (University) with a BA in Elementary Education, and from University of Missouri at Kansas City with a Masters in Reading. She has 2 boys and 5 animals in her home. She homeschools her boys and is currently taking online classes towards her pastoral education. Her hobbies are scrapbooking, reading, and gardening. |
